Dems to examine primary schedule, Buckley not worried

This weekend the Democratic National Committee is set to consider a resolution that would change the party's presidential primary system, but New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Ray Buckley said the resolution should not be a threat to the state's first-in-the-nation primary status.

According to a statement the DNC's rules committee will study a resolution that "will be to ensure that no primary or caucus is held prior to the first Tuesday in March of 2012, with the exception of the approved pre-window states, whose contests would be held during February 2012."

Fuller Clark in political spotlight this weekend

This weekend state Sen. Martha Fuller Clark (D-Portsmouth) will be one of 30 people who could determine Sen. Hillary Clinton's (D-NY) fate.

Fuller Clark is a member of the Democratic National Committee Rules Committee that will meet this weekend to determine if the delegates from Florida and Michigan should be seated at the national convention.  The two states were stripped of their delegates because they voted before the date purposed by the DNC.
