Important Environmental Groups Endorse Harold Janeway for State Senate

            Two of New Hampshire's prominent environmental groups, the Sierra Club and the Granite State Conservation Voters Alliance have endorsed Harold Janeway in his bid for re-election to the State Senate.

Environmental groups are attempting to garner the support of U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley), for two bills the Senate is considering.

One bill would divert oil subsidies to fund renewable energy sources and another bill would introduce a cap-and-trade emission system.
