LACONIA- State Sen. Candidate Greg Knytych (R-Laconia) thinks the current budget deficit is his opponent's biggest weakness.
Knytych hopes to defeat freshman state Sen. Kathleen Sgambati (D-Tilton) on a message of budget restraint in the race for the district four state senate seat.
For Immediate Release----###Greg Knytych, the freshman Laconia City Councilor from Ward 1 has just announced his intention to run for the New Hampshire Senate in District 4. There are too many expenses being passed down to the property taxpayers through the counties and that has to stop. Knytych feels that Spending must be controlled in Concord while protecting the traditional New Hampshire values and way of life. Knytych thinks the idea is simple, we can't have over 17% budget increases and looming deficits and Legislators thinking that we just need to raise taxes or create new taxes to pay for this.
"Thankfully, the votes of U.S. Reps. Paul Hodes and Carol Shea-Porter were not needed to pass a bill designed to reopen the credit markets that are the lifeblood of business on Main Street and Wall Street."
