Three days after visiting a Manchester food bank, Sununu voted against a proposal backed by the NH Food Bank that would double funding for food banks

(Manchester, NH) - The Coordinated Campaign of the New Hampshire Democratic Party released a web video today examining John Sununu's double talk on food banks. Sununu visited a Manchester food bank on May 12 and paid lip service to the high cost of food, but just three days later, he voted against a proposal to double food bank funding, including $50 million for 2008. [Senate Vote #130, 5/15/08] The proposal was part of the 2008 Farm Bill, which the New Hampshire Food Bank supported.
