Howard recount appeal denied

CONCORD- The Ballot Law Commission has dismissed the appeal by presidential candidate Albert Howard (R-Mich.).

This was the latest step in a four month process that began with Howard challenging the results of the New Hampshire Republican primary.

After a six-week recount process, that resulted in Howard losing one vote, Howard decided to challenge the recount.

Howard loses votes in primary recount

The Republican president primary recount requested by Albert Howard has concluded with Howard receiving less votes than when the recount began.

Howard originally finished with 44 votes, after the recount he finished with 37 votes.

It took the Secretary of State's Office almost three weeks to complete the statewide recount.

Howard Prepared To Legally Challenge Recount Results

CONCORD- After two weeks of counting there has been no major discrepancies found in the Republican primary recount. Yet, Republican candidate Albert Howard said he is prepared to legally challenge the results.

“Based on what my lawyers will say, I am legally ready to take it to the next level,” Howard said. “This is a level one of a deeper level,” he added.

Kucinich Recount Ends Due To Lack of Funds

The Democratic presidential primary recount has ended. 

According to the Secretary of State's website "The Kucinich Recount Stopped This Morning (Jan. 23, 2008) Because Funds Ran Out."
