In New Hampshire today, the state Republican Party attempted to defend Senator John Sununu’s support of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito by calling Sununu “an independent voice for New Hampshire.”

PEOPLE FOR THE AMERICAN WAY’S DISHONEST ATTACK ON SUNUNU

CONCORD –   In an attempt to mislead New Hampshire voters, the liberal special interest group, People for the American Way released an ad this week targeting Senator John Sununu. This left-wing special interest group should know that New Hampshire voters do not welcome their dishonest attacks.

People for the American Way will begin airing a radio ad next week that targets U.S. Sen. John Sununu's (R-Waterville Valley) support of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sam Alito and Chief Justice John Roberts.

The ad will highlight Justice Alito's majority opinion in the case Ledbetter v. Goodyear. The case involved a female worker who was paid less than male coworkers. The Court ruled 5-4 against Lilly Ledbetter.
