John Stephen More Than Doubles All New Hampshire Republican US House Candidates In Funds Raised From Individuals In 2nd Quarter
MANCHESTER, NH- 1st District Congressional Candidate John Stephen more than doubled the fundraising efforts of all other New Hampshire U.S. House candidates in the recent filings with the Federal Election Commission for the 2nd quarter of 2008.  In the quarter, Stephen raised $135,905.17 from individuals.  The next closest Republican House candidate was Jeb Bradley, who raised $63,368 from individuals.

Shea-Porter raises $260K in 2Q

U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-PorterU.S. Rep. Carol Shea-PorterBy the end of the second fundraising quarter, U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-Rochester) had raised $260,275 for her re-election bid. She also reported that she has $748,529 cash-on-hand.

According to Federal Election Commission forms, Shea-Porter raised $168,939 from individuals and $91,335 from political action committees.

Update: Bradley has $475,000 on hand

Former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley: Campaign photoFormer U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley: Campaign photoFormer U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) reported that he raised $98,518 over the last three months from donors and political action committees. According to FEC, filings Bradley ended the second fundraising quarter with $475,348 cash-on-hand.

During the quarter, Bradley raised $35,150 from various political action committees, $63,368 from individual donors and he also loaned the campaign $50,000 on the day the quarter ended, which would bring his total to $148,526.

Update: Horn reports $36k raised in 2Q

Second district congressional candidate Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) raised $61,000 over the course of the second quarter. Horn finished the quarter with $21,000 cash-on-hand.

Horn called her second quarter "great" and focused on her grassroots organization.

Update: According to Horn's FEC report she raised $35,605.40 from donors and loaned her campaign $25,000. Also, Horn only has $4,700 cash-on-hand availiable for the primary. "We have $20,000 on hand to help build a general election campaign. We're the only campaign that has build a campaign that can compete with Paul Hodes," Horn's campaign manager David Chesley told PolitickerNH.com.
