‘Stop Sununu’ dissolves

The group "Stop Sununu" have ceased their operations, The Concord Monitor reports.

Since last summer, the group has been tracking U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley) and is most famous for coming up with red stop signs that read "Stop Sununu."

The group's functions will be folded into the campaign efforts of the state Democratic Party.

Dems reflect on 5th anniversary of Iraq War

On the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq War, various New Hampshire Democrats have issued statements praising the members of the military but attacking the policies behind the war.

"We honor our fallen men and women, their comrades who have returned home, and those who continue to serve in Iraq, Afghanistan and in other parts of the world," Congressman Paul Hodes (D-Concord) said.

Hodes went on to criticize the costs and the effects of the war.
