"NH ADVANTAGE" APPEARS TO HAVE VIOLATED NH ELECTION LAW
Petition to NH Attorney General Cites Seven Apparent Election & Tax Law Violations By Group and its Leaders, Rep. Candidates Mike Biundo and Tammy Simmons


(Manchester) The political group known as "New Hampshire Advantage Coalition" has apparently violated NH election law and may have violated nonprofit tax law by failing to file its required financial disclosures, failing to put disclaimers on its election materials, and by using its nonprofit status to promote the candidacy of its two leaders, Mike Biundo and Tammy Simmons, according to a complaint filed with the New Hampshire Attorney General by former NH Democratic Party Chair Kathy Sullivan.

GOP activist banned from posting on Blue Hampshire

A Manchester Republican activist has been barred from posting on the website Blue Hampshire.

The activist, Tammy Simmons, has been banned from the site because she violated site rules. Simmons was using a pseudonym to post comments on the popular site which is a violation of the rules because the editors claim she is a paid campaign staffer.

Morning talk show wrap-up

WMUR's Close-Up concentrated on political advertisements and their effects on the electorate. The panel consisted of New Hampshire Institute of Politics Political Director Jennifer Donahue, New Hampshire Republican Chairman Fergus Cullen, Director of the New Hampshire Democratic Party's coordinated campaign Colin Van Ostern and Dean Spiliotes, from NH Political Capital.

The panel also discussed U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes and his franked mailings and possible issues that will dominate the November election.
