State senate candidate Bob Backus: Campaign PhotoThe Manchester City Republican Committee is accusing state senate candidate Bob Backus (D-Manchester) of conducting "push polls" against his rival, state Sen. Ted Gatsas (R-Manchester)

The Republicans are also requesting that the Attorney General and the Secretary of State investigate the polls.

MANCHESTER - The Manchester Republican Committee called on the Board of Mayor and Aldermen to follow the clear intent of the law and the will of the voters by placing the spending cap question on the November ballot. 

State Senate candidate Doug Kruse (R-Manchester) will officially launch his campaign on August 6th with a fundraiser.

The kick-off event and fundraiser with take place at Manchester's The Belmont Hall & Restaurant on Grove Street.

The historic Merrimack Restaurant has officially closed its doors.

Almost every presidential candidate has visited the famed Manchester eatery since the early 1980s.

CITY REPUBLICANS LINE UP TO FILE FOR STATE REP, PLEDGE TO FIX DEFICIT
AND ATTEND SESSIONS

MANCHESTER - Twenty Republicans flooded the City Clerk's Office today
to file for state representative, after which they took the steps
outside City Hall and offered a "Five-Point Pledge to Manchester."

First Congressional District candidate Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) has announced his Manchester Leadership Committee.

Bradley's committee is comprised of elected officials, party activists and business leaders.

Supporters include State Representatives Will Infantine, Irene Messier, Sandy Reeves and Aldermen Mike Garrity and Real Pinard.

Other notables include former Manchester Republican Chairman Jerry Thibodeau, realtor Ben Gamache and former State Senators Andy Martel and Dick Danais.
