Romney spreading the love

Sarah Palin has been accused of going off script the last couple of days to start laying the groundwork for 2012. She may not be the only one looking ahead. Mitt Romney, who has been seen on TV by John McCain's side the last few days in Ohio, will be in the Granite State tomorrow stumping for John Sununu, Jeb Bradley, Jennifer Horn, Bob Letourneau and Doug Kruse.

Romney has also rewarded some of his loyal supporters with financial donations. His PAC has cut checks in the amount of $1,000 for senate candidates, $500 for county candidates and $250 for house candidates who endorsed him during the primary. His way of saying thank you to those who were loyal to him.

Former GOP Bay State Gov. endorses Obama

SALEM-- Using words such as "deep calm," and "first class political temperament," former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld endorsed Barack Obama outside an Obama campaign office Friday.

Weld, a Republican, said that he has never endorsed a Democratic presidential nominee but sees Obama as someone who can unite the country and restore America's standing in the world.

Gov. Sarah Palin has established herself as a possible Republican presidential candidate in 2010, The Boston Globe reports.

Phyllis Woods, New Hampshire's Republican National Committeewoman, told The Globe that Palin could be a serious presidential candidate in 2012.

MANCHESTER--Speaking at the annual Jefferson Jackson dinner both Gov. John Lynch (D-Hopkinton) and U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord) both began their speeches with jokes about Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
