Hodes Ignores Reality of Energy Crisis, Ready for Another Vacation
After Voting for Sham “Energy” Bill, Hodes Wants Head Home to Spin Record

Washington- Showing concern over her re-election odds, Rep. Paul Hodes (D-NH) voted today to adjourn Congress for another vacation without making sure that energy legislation is enacted (House Roll Call 610). After Rep. Paul Hodes' last five-week paid vacation, he returned to Washington just long enough to vote for a sham “energy” bill designed only to give himself political cover to try and distract voters from his “do-nothing, drill-nothing” record on energy.  But unfortunately for Americans still feeling the pain at the pump, the Hodes-backed bill is “dead on arrival” in the Senate and has no chance of becoming law.

Jeb Bradley Comments on Congress’s Decision to Take a Break Without Finishing Job.

Manchester, NH –The US House of Representative today decided by a vote of 213 to 212 to break for vacation.. Jeb Bradley released the following statement regarding the August recess.

I’m off through July 23 for some much needed rest and relaxation. I'll be heading up to Niagara Falls and Buffalo, and then down to wine country.
