Roberto Fuentes was just 21 years old when he ran for state representative in 2006. The Nashua Ward 2 Democrat who is co-chair of the New Hampshire Democratic Party's Latino Caucus fell just 84 votes short in his first campaign effort. With three seats to be filled from Hillsborough’s 21st district, Fuentes came in 84 behind Republican Elenore Casey Crane for the third and final seat.
Nashua Democratic leader Jane Clemons has asked Fuentes to run again and he is leaning towards doing so. Fuentes, now 23, has set up a Facebook group page and after receiving 61 member signups in just 24 hours he is leaning towards taking another shot at the seat.
