Education funding now behind the economy and taxes

Education funding which has often been the biggest concern among NH voters since 2001 has slipped behind taxes and the economy as the greatest concern among Granite State voters according to the latest UNH poll. Despite the bad economy numbers voters in a ratio of two to one think NH is on the right track.

John Lynch’s approval numbers continue to be through the roof as 74% approve of the job Lynch is doing as Governor while only 13% disapprove.

In a head-to-head matchup, Lynch is leading Joe Kenney 68% to 17%. Lynch even leads Kenney among Republican voters by a 44% to 36% margin.

In short, unless something changes quickly we see why the Republican Party has a hard time recruiting a candidate to challenge Lynch.
