Campaign
Pam Tucker campaign is getting big here in Greenland. Whether I support her or not, I admit these guys are making a lot of effort.
Elect Pam Tucker
It is time to bring government back to where it belongs.
For the people.
Pam is a breath of fresh air in theses political times.
How will you do it?
You will have no vote in Concord for at least two years as a freshman republican rep. So, if you slash taxes and spending, how do we manage our fiscal responsibility?
Please give some answers.
RE: How will you do it?
Thank you, everybody, for your wonderful comments.
Jessica, in this past budget our politicians raised spending by 17.5%. This has created huge deficits in our state budget. Politicians have raised 23 taxes and fees and have also shifted operating expenses to our state's credit card.
This is completely irresponsible budgeting.
We must first go back and look at the prior budget and move forward from there at a reasonable rate.
Going forward, we must limit spending increases to approximately the rate of inflation + population growth.
Furthermore, we got into this mess because our politicians used rosy statistics for economic growth that were heavily criticized by outside observers as well as members of the minority party. These critics turned out to be correct.
Truth in budget forecasting and reasonable spending increases will keep out fiscal house in order.
If I am to be elected by the people of Greenland, I will have a vote in Concord and it will count.

It takes more than repeating lies
Pam,
The first test of leadership and having the capicity to understand how to be an effective representative is to have a basic understanding of what you are talking about. Under that test you have failed miserably. But repeating the 17% lie you show a remarkable lack of understanding. the budget increase this year was 5% and if you subtract the automatic increases from previous contracts, spending was actually 3%. Your willingness to embrace the stupid Republican lie exposes you as yet another Roadblock Republican wanting to go to Concord to put mindless partisanship before getting the job done. We have enough of your kind up there already. To quote your role model "thanks, but no thanks!"
Facts hurt but...
To Jessica, Starting with committee work, where bills are shaped, and Session day where bills are fought over and voted on, right from day one, everything a representative does, has an impact on taxes and our way of life in NH. So I don't know what you're talking about regarding "You will have no vote in Concord for at least two years as a freshman republican rep.". That is simply not true.
To 2009, get over it, the dems raised the budget 17.5%. You can do all the fanangling you wany. using your "new math", but that is the fact.
Best of luck to Tucker.

Sir, as much as I understand your frustration and anger, because this is also my concern, I don't think this is the way to discuss these issues. Most policians respond this way unluckily and we need someone who cares and focus on what they are doing instead of blaming others and taking actions based on that. Pamela Tucker came to my house and I got rid of some doubts. I'm sure you will have the chance to meet her if you are part of the Greenland community. Reckless accusations are more interesting in person.
Pam Tucker hits the Internet and...
the Internet hits back. Anonymously.

tax/fee increase
I was wondering if anyone could share some opinions on this?
http://www.pamtucker.org/pam-tucker-taxes-fees.html
re: tax/fee increase
We're being taxed to death in this state. Fees for everything. The politicians just never get enough.
And government spending is way up, but what do we have to show for it?
More lies
NH has the lowest tax burden of any state. Why must Republicans lie? It is truly pathetic.
re: more lies
Not true.
When you consider all the fees and tolls and hidden taxes it adds up to quite a lot.
anyways-our state budget is already over $10,000,000,000.00!
the real question should be...why do our politicians lie about economic estimates to justify huge spending increases?
now, their economic projections and huge spending increases are coming back to haunt us.
These guys spend our hard earned money like drunken sailors!
