Winners

Losers

John Stephen

Led all first CD candidates in personal contributions

Jeanne Shaheen

Democrat, Republican, Independent, do you really want the IRS figuring out how much money you should be sending them, as she proposed this week? A Republican campaign commercial in the making.

Paul Hodes

Running away in the fundraising race in CD2

Bob Clegg

Clegg could have put the race away with a stronger fundraising quarter and dumping more of his own money into the race in the first quarter. Now he leaves the door open for Horn.

Carol Shea-Porter

The addition of Pia Carusone to her staff is a good score though her "professional" comment is already the buzz of her base supporters

Jennifer Horn

After going after her opponent for taking money from lobbyists, a lobbyist check ends up in her FEC file

Comments

Are you kidding me? Horn

Are you kidding me? Horn raises more than the other three combined, she is blowing them all out of the water as she speaks around the district, and she accepted the financial support of her sister and brother-in-law ( a lobbyist registered to lobby ONLY in the state of NY!) and you list Horn under the LOSER column? You obviously aren't watching the same race I am.

You might want to ask her about her position on lobbyists next time you see her (I did) She wants to protect the voter AND the lobbyists by eliminating the suggestion of undue influence through the exchange of money....force the lawmakers to vote on the merit of legislation instead of on cash donations.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Political neutrality would do wonders for this site.

"do you really want the IRS figuring out how much money you should be sending them, as she proposed this week?"

As opposed to doing it myself or paying someone else to? Yes. I don't even see a privacy concern, it's information they'll get anyway. The only reasonable objection I can think of is if you're not paying as much as you owe. So what's your problem, again?
