Believing that the “Big Mo” is on her side, 2nd District Congressional candidate Jennifer Horn is taking swings at the Democratic incumbent, U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord), for his opposition of a bill aimed at preventing tax hikes in next year’s state budget.
"Because Paul Hodes refused to stand up yesterday, New Hampshire families will now have a much greater tax burden,” Horn, a Republican, said in a statement.
Citing the timeliness of yesterday’s tax-related deliberation, Horn said, “Paul Hodes' vote, especially on April 15th of all days, indicates a complete disregard for the citizens across the district.”
Horn, a former radio talk show host and Nashua Telegrpah reporter faces a crowded GOP field that includes state Sen. Bob Clegg, former talk-radio host Grant Bosse, and businessman Jim Steiner.
