Rep. Paul Hodes is looking to be a voice box for New Hampshire's 2nd District, literally. As part of his new "Voices of the People" initiative, constituents are being encouraged to send the Congressman "their personal experiences regarding the economy, the war in Iraq, healthcare, gas prices, or other issues that matter to them."
According to a release, Hodes will then "read selected stories on the House Floor, where they will be aired live on C-Span and entered into the Congressional Record to become a permanent part of American history."
"Voices of the People will bring the personal stories of our community directly to our leaders in Washington, ensuring that the House of Representatives remain the people's house," said Hodes.
